The first building in Asian city became the 'vertical forest'. These two towers are covered with greenery being completed in Nanjing, China.

- The first "vertical forest" in Asia is under construction in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019. In fact, these are two towers with a height of nearly 200 m and 108 m with hundreds of large trees and shrubs. It is expected to contribute to resolving the pollution crisis in China.

- According to SCMP, this place will contain more than 600 large trees, 500 medium trees and about 2,500 shrubs from 23 different native species, covering 65,000 m2 of surface area of the two Nanjing towers. This mid-urban green forest will provide 60 kg of oxygen per day and absorb 25 tons of carbon dioxide per year.

- From the 8th to 35th floors of the tall tower is reserved for offices for lease. There are also museums, green architecture schools and a private club located on the rooftop of the building. The second tower is 108 m high, hotel with 247 rooms and rooftop swimming pool. This is the work of Italian architect Stefano Boeri.
